About Me.....
My name is Daniel Rosa, I am the Owner and Managing Broker for
RE/MAX Platinum. I also own The Gleam Team LLC Property Management & Maintenance Company.
I have been a resident of Windham since 2005. Engaged to be married in July of 2010.
Owner of RE/MAX Platinum Realty since 2006.
Owner of The Gleam Team LLC Property Management/Maintenance Company
since it was established in 2002. I have over 10 years experience in the real estate business.
I Plan on selling real estate another 30 years. We are not going anywhere.
Why Real Estate? I Love it! Meeting new people, helping them achieve their dreams, the education never stops. Each day is different, anything can happen.
What made me decide real estate?
I used to stay up late at night wondering what I wanted to do? I would see infomercials on selling real estate and finding deals. I was intrigued. It came down to asking myself this question, what did I really want?.
1. I wanted to help people.
2. I wanted a flexible schedule and lifestyle.
3. I wanted to make above average income.
Selling real estate seemed to be the answer so I decided to take real estate classes to get my license. It hasn’t been easy. When my boss at the time found out I was taking real estate classes he switched my schedule so I couldn’t make the times. I then had to reschedule and start over. Once I did get my license the boss found out and I was let go. There were people that I worked for who told me “I would be nothing without them”. I didn’t listen.
Once I found a Broker to hold my license I was fortunate enough to moonlight at the same time as an apprentice appraiser. This helped pay my living expenses and gave me a good look at how banks value property. I didn’t actually close a real estate deal until 90 days after I started. Ones that I thought would close fell apart due to situations out of my control. There were a couple times that it seemed hopeless to stay in this business and a couple times when I was alone I broke down crying. I refused to quit. I made $35K the first year.
Today I own an up and coming real estate company located in one of the best towns in the state Windham NH (in my opinion) with the best Real Estate name in the business. RE/MAX.
I looked at several franchises before I purchased RE/MAX Platinum Realty. RE/MAX is the largest real estate company in the world, located in 67 countries and with over 120,000 agents. I love how RE/MAX devotes themselves to their clients and agents. I am proud to be a part of their global system.
How do I stay positive? When I was a boy my Father told me there were three things I needed to do to have a successful life. I will never forget, he said, Have a good heart. Never take things for granite. Always do the right thing.
What would I say to anyone thinking about getting into the business? Find a good Broker to learn from, never quit, love what you do, never take anything personally and it might not hurt to listen to your Dad.
